Northfield NNS is part of Birmingham City Council's Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS) which is designed to support older people in Birmingham to connect with individuals, groups, organisations, activities, services and places in their local neighbourhood.

They are an integral part of Birmingham City Council's community social work model.

Neighbourhood Network Schemes are locality and constituency based and enable the engagement with and investment in community assets.
